A Note From Our Pastor

Hi — and Thank You for Looking Us Up.

We're really glad you're here, even just digitally for now. Whatever drew you to this page — curiosity, a friend's invitation, or simply searching “church near me” — you are warmly welcome.

We're not a perfect church. We're a community of ordinary people changed by the love of Jesus, trying to live that love out together in Leicester. Sundays are honest, unhurried, and joyful. There is no insider club, no dress code, no expectation that you know anything about church. Just turn up. We'll take care of the rest.

If you have any questions before you come, please reach out — there is no question too small.

— Apostle Harrison Elekwa, Lead Pastor

A Quick Walkthrough

What Your First Sunday Looks Like

You Arrive

Pull up at 11:00 am, walk to 31 Saint John's Street, and head to the second floor. Look for the green lanyards — that's our welcome team, and they'll point you to the kitchen for tea or coffee.

You Get Settled

Grab a drink, find a seat anywhere you like, and breathe. The service starts at 11:30 am with worship, the Word, and prayer ministry — about 90 minutes in total.

You Encounter Jesus

Whether through a song, a sermon, communion, or a moment of prayer — Sundays at GGC are built around one thing: meeting with Jesus. There is no pressure to do or say anything you're not ready for.

You're Invited to Stay

After the service, our team is around for a chat over coffee. We'd love to say hi, hear a little of your story, and answer any questions. Then you head back to your week — no follow-up emails, no obligations.
