Our Weekly Gathering

Where We Meet With Jesus

Sunday is the heartbeat of life at Glorious Gospel Centre. We gather to lift up the name of Jesus, sit under the Word, share communion, and be sent out renewed for the week ahead.

The Heartbeat of GGC

A Gathering, Not a Performance

Sunday at GGC isn't a show β€” it's a family gathering. We come from every corner of Leicester and beyond, from every walk of life and every stage of faith, and we sit together under the lordship of Jesus Christ. We sing because He is worthy. We open the Bible because His Word gives life. We pray because we are dependent. We share communion because the cross changed everything.

If you're new, you'll find us warm, unhurried, and welcoming. There are no insider rituals, no expectations to perform. Just real people meeting a real Saviour.

Diverse worship team leading a Sunday morning service at Glorious Gospel Centre Leicester.
  1. 11:00 am

We open the service with sung worship led by our worship team β€” a mix of contemporary songs and well-loved hymns, all anchored in the gospel of grace.

  3. 11:55 am

A brief moment to welcome new visitors, share what's coming up at GGC, and pray together as a family.

  4. 12:05 pm

    The Word

The heart of Sunday: a 35–40 minute Bible-based message, usually preached by Apostle Harrison Elekwa or one of our teaching team. Christ-centred, Scripture-anchored, accessible.

  5. 12:45 pm

    Communion & Response

We share the Lord's Supper together (open to all believers), and our prayer team is available at the front for anyone who'd like personal prayer.

  6. 1:00 pm

    Tea, Coffee & Connection

The service closes around 1:00 pm and we linger together with refreshments. It's the perfect chance to meet someone new or chat with one of our pastors.

What We Do Together

Four Things We Hold Sacred

Sung Worship

Worship at GGC is honest, joyful, and Christ-centred. We sing songs that proclaim the gospel and lift up the name of Jesus β€” anchored in Scripture, led by the Spirit, and open to anyone who wants to join.

Faithful Preaching

Every Sunday, we open the Bible and let it speak. Apostle Harrison and our teaching team preach Christ from every passage β€” clearly, warmly, and with a deep commitment to the gospel of grace.

Communion

We celebrate the Lord's Supper as a family every Sunday. It's open to anyone who has placed their faith in Jesus, and it reminds us that the cross is always at the centre of who we are.

Prayer Ministry

After the service, our prayer team is available at the front for anyone who'd like personal prayer β€” for healing, encouragement, breakthrough, salvation, or anything in between. There is no need too small.

β€œWhere two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

β€” Matthew 18:20
Serve on Sunday

Join the Worship Team

Our worship team is the lead voice of our Sunday gatherings β€” vocalists, instrumentalists, and tech volunteers who use their gifts to lift up Jesus and serve the church. If you have a heart for worship, a teachable spirit, and a willingness to commit to a regular rhythm of rehearsals and Sundays, we'd love to chat.

We welcome musicians and singers of every level β€” from seasoned worship leaders to those serving for the first time.
